Akraino CI usage survey

Eric Ball

Hello again everyone! I've received four replies to the survey now, so thank you to those who have responded! But four responses is still only a very small portion of Akraino PTLs, so we still really need more engagement. Also, I still need time in a TSC or PTL meeting to discuss the results with everyone. Is there a meeting that I could be slotted into?

For those who still need to respond, the survey can be found here: https://forms.gle/ys2pHwDBVnsagF2C7

Bluval vuls ubuntu 20.04 support

Todd Malsbary

Hello,

I have a Jenkins job configured to run the Bluval tests and it appears that Ubuntu 20.04 is not supported by the version of Vuls in the akraino/validation:os-amd64-latest image.  It looks like it's missing an oval_ubuntu_20.sqlite3 file.

Is there a more up-to-date image I should be using?

More details: the job runs https://raw.githubusercontent.com/akraino-edge-stack/ci-management/master/jjb/shell/run_bluval.sh, patched to pass "--tag amd64-latest" to blucon.py.

Thanks,

-Todd

Sub-committee Chair Updates

For the Altra systems, the following GPUs could be supported.

Nvidia

  • Tesla T4 (HHHL LP75W)
  • A10 : Future (FHFL ^200w)
  • A100 DW FHFL 300W

AMD

  • WX5100: Open Source Driver Only
  • V620: POC w/ Native drivers by Dec 2021 (DW FHFL 300W)

Would one of these meet the needs of the Akraino team that was looking for the GPU resources on the arm / ampere systems.  Let me know and I can have some discussions with them.

Cheers,
Lincoln
