Installation Procedures

Currently, the installation/deployment for stx-2.0 Distributed Cloud is in progress, under this Gerrit review.

Until that is completed, you may install/deploy a single node system following the StarlingX 2.0 instructions here:

Please note that the Rel 1 version of this blueprint deploys the EdgeX Foundry application as a containerized app.  Because of this, the underlying StarlingX system must be version 2.0 as StarlingX 1.0 does not support native containers.

If you prefer to use Virtual Machine you should be able to use StarlingX  2.0 or StarlingX  1.0 but blueprint was validated by native containers on StarlingX  2.0.
