- Update on ETSI MEC Collaboration
- Use of ETSI MEC architecture in Akraino BPs. Some BPs already explicitly refer to ETSI MEC in their architecture (e.g., EALTEdge). Some BPs are “mappable” to ETSI MEC architecture (e.g. PCEI). Maybe we should include an optional architecture section in BP architecture documents that shows the alignment with ETSI MEC.
- Direct implementation of ETSI MEC services and APIs in Akraino BPs
- Early alignment of Akraino BPs targeting MEC Federation with ETSI MEC Federation architecture (e.g., Federated Multi-Access Edge Cloud Platform BP)
- Participation in ETSI MEC Hakathons. One thing that occurred to me while I was listening to the ETSI MEC Hackathon 2021 update was that Akraino BPs and releases are essentially a “continuous hakathon”. Given that almost all Akraino BPs provide solutions for Edge Computing, we should find a way to “channel” Akraino BPs as ETSI MEC hakathon projects as well.
- Continue discussion on MEF Edge Computing - MEHMET TOY
