Team discussed the need for more contributors and UPF vendor representation
- Oleg Berzin suggested to (re)approach Kaloom
- Looking for proposals for UPF vendor contributions
Oleg Berzin provided an update on the Equinix validation lab development:
- The setup work is ongoing and will take through the end of July (beginning of August)
- The lab will have Public Cloud (PCC) access capabilities (via Equinix Interconnect and APIs)
- The lab will have a server/VM resource to run the PCEI Enabler
- The lab will have a server resource to instantiate a 3PE Edge App. The Edge App itself will need to be contributed
- The lab will not have live 4G/5G mobile network access. This will need to be contributed or simulation software will need to be used
UPF Distribution discussion
- Suzy Gu proposed to distinguish between the UPF Interconnection and the UPF Placement scenarios
- Oleg Berzin agreed to update the Use Case Development page with separate diagrams and call flow sketches for both scenarios (complete)
- Oleg Berzin agreed to post the working slides with the architecture and call flow diagrams into the PCEI Files page (complete). Note that the slides are WORK IN PROGRESS.
PCEI Blog discussion
- Suzy Gu added UPF LBO configuration call flows
- The PCEI blog needs to be reviewed and edited before handing off to LFE
