| Bio | Ricardo is a Principal Software Engineer currently working in Edge Computing topics in Red Hat's Office of the CTO as part of the Emerging Technologies group. Part of this role involves the exploration and implementation of Edge Computing areas such as building complex edge computing stacks and managing them at scale. He's been doing R&D on the NFV/telco space contributing to various projects such as OpenStack, OpenDaylight and OPNFV. Now, moving to the container world, Ricardo has been working on enabling features in OpenShift/K8s in order to run Edge/vRAN workloads. He is passionate about new technologies and everything related to the Open Source world. Ricardo holds a MSc Degree in Telecomunications from Technical University of Madrid (UPM).
