Rel 2 Incubation stage reporting
MBI = Milestone Bp Incubation
1) Entry Criteria: MBI0. The project is approved to enter the 'Incubation' stage after TSC review and approval (Akraino Project Reviews)
2) Details of the Blue Print Milestones are in the slide attached
3) A Blueprint can be part of Rel 2 as a self certified project by fulfilling MBI0-MBI4
4) Some Blueprints who were already part of Rel 1 may seek graduation review by fulfilling MBI0-MBI6
3) Even though Milestones come one after the other, they need not be sequential and are not gating factors to enter the next or a subsequent stage.
4) It is to be noted that a blue print does not need to be mature to be part of rel2, and more particularly if the Blue Print was not part of Rel1, it cannot be mature in Rel 2 since it would not be part of two releases in rel2
The self Certification/ maturity graduation reviews are done by assessing the projects against the Incubation or Mature review as defined in the Akraino Project Reviews page.
Note: Reporting of 'Achieved dates' are mandatory (if not optional milestones). The advance publishing of Target dates is optional.
